CHAPTER 2 — The Beast That Feared Nothing

The silence lasted only three seconds.
Then the alpha wolf lunged.
What happened next stunned the entire pack.
The giant guardian didn't dodge.
He met the attack head-on.
His massive shoulder slammed into the wolf with enough force to send it crashing across the frozen ground.
The remaining wolves circled faster.
Snow exploded beneath their paws.
One attacked from the left.
Another from behind.
A third leaped toward the puppy.
The guardian moved with shocking speed for a dog his size.
He blocked every attack.
His enormous body became a living wall.
The puppy curled beneath him, too terrified to move.
The wolves realized something terrifying.
This wasn't an ordinary livestock dog.
Every movement was calculated.
Every bite landed exactly where it needed to.
He wasn't fighting to kill.
He was fighting to protect.
Minutes passed.
The wolves grew frustrated.
Small cuts began appearing across their legs and shoulders.
Meanwhile...
The giant dog barely seemed tired.
Then the alpha noticed something strange.
The dog wasn't alone.
Deep inside the forest...
More enormous black figures slowly appeared between the trees.
One...
Two...
Three...
The wolves had thought they were hunting one dog.
Instead...
May you like
They had walked straight into the territory of an entire family of giant guardians.
The hunters had suddenly become the hunted.
