Chapter 7 - The Final Confrontation

Upstairs in the glowing white showroom, Victor was calmly putting on his leather gloves, preparing to leave through the front glass doors where his private limousine waited. Bellini stood beside him, wiping sweat off his neck with a handkerchief.
"Is it done?" Bellini asked nervously. "The police will ask questions—"
"The police will find a dead engineer who made a fatal error with industrial gas," Victor said coldly. "Ensure the media covers the tragedy with appropriate grief. It will boost the narrative."
CRASH!
Suddenly, the floor beneath them shattered. Dust, twisted metal, and shattered glass erupted into the center of the showroom.
Through the cloud of smoke and fire, a figure emerged from the hole in the floor. Leo stepped out, covered in soot, gasping for fresh air, holding a heavy steel wrench in his hand, his eyes burning with fury.
Bellini screamed and fell backward over a display table. Victor froze, his jaw dropping in absolute terror as if he had just seen a ghost rising from hell.
"You... you should be dead!" Victor gasped, stumbling back toward the front entrance.
"I built this entire building, Victor!" Leo roared, his voice echoing off the glass walls as he marched toward his brother like an unstoppable force. "I know every bolt, every wire, and every flaw in this place! And I know every flaw in you!"
Victor pulled a concealed compact pistol from his jacket and aimed it directly at Leo’s chest with shaking hands. "Stay back! I'll kill you right here! I'll tell the press you went insane!"
"Go ahead," Leo said, not stopping his march. He stepped right up to the barrel of the gun, pressing his chest directly against the cold steel. "Pull the trigger, Victor. Do it."
"Don't test me, Leo!" Victor screamed, his finger tightening on the trigger.
"Look up, Victor," Leo whispered coldly.
Victor blinked, momentarily glancing up at the ceiling.

Sitting on the high balcony above the showroom floor were four heavy camera rigs—the exact high-definition cameras used by the social media team during the morning's live-stream. Their red recording lights were blinking brightly.
"When Julian confronted me this morning, the showroom was live-streaming to three million people," Leo said, a victorious smile spreading across his soot-covered face. "And when you locked me down there, I manually routed the security feed directly to the global stream. Over five million people just watched you confess to corporate sabotage, attempted murder, and insider trading live on the internet."
