🔥 CHAPTER 6 – THE BILLIONAIRE OFFERED HER HALF HIS FORTUNE... BUT HER ANSWER SHOCKED THE ENTIRE COUNTRY

Three weeks later...

News exploded across every television network.

"Alexander Kingston Found Alive."

"Billionaire Exposes Massive Conspiracy."

"Former Socialite Victoria Kensington Faces Multiple Criminal Charges."

The story spread around the world.

Reporters flooded Willow Creek.

Thousands of people arrived hoping to see the billionaire who had lived as a homeless man.

The same townspeople who once mocked Alexander now stood outside his temporary home carrying flowers, gifts, and handwritten apology letters.

Alexander accepted none of them.

Instead...

He spent every morning repairing furniture with the elderly landlord who had once given him his first honest job.

Nothing about him had changed.

Except the world finally knew who he really was.

A week later...

Alexander invited Emily to the rooftop garden of his New York headquarters.

The entire city sparkled beneath them.

A long wooden table held two cups of coffee.

Just like the ones Emily had once brought him in the park.

Alexander smiled softly.

"I've signed something."

He handed her a thick folder.

Emily opened it.

Her hands began shaking.

Half of Alexander's personal fortune...

Billions of dollars...

Had been transferred into a trust in her name.

She stared at him in complete disbelief.

"I can't accept this."

Alexander smiled.

"I know."

"That's exactly why you deserve it."

Emily slowly closed the folder.

Then pushed it back across the table.

"I never helped you because I thought you'd reward me."

"I helped you because I believed no human being deserves to be abandoned."

Alexander looked at her silently.

The board members standing nearby exchanged stunned glances.

Lawyers.

Executives.

Even international journalists.

None of them had expected anyone...

To refuse billions of dollars.

Emily reached into her handbag.

She pulled out something far more valuable.

The old receipt...

For the two sandwiches she had bought on the day they first met.

"I only ever wanted this..."

"...to remind me that kindness doesn't need a reason."

Alexander's eyes filled with tears.

For years...

He had searched the world for someone impossible to find.

Someone who loved the man...

Not the billionaire.

At that moment...

He finally realized his search was over.

But before he could say another word—

The doors to the rooftop burst open.

One of Alexander's senior attorneys ran toward him, completely out of breath.

"Mr. Kingston!"

"You need to come downstairs immediately!"

"The board meeting has been taken over..."

"...and someone claiming to be your biological brother has just walked in carrying DNA results."

Alexander's smile disappeared.

He had been an only child...

His entire life.

Or so he thought.
