🔥 CHAPTER 8 – THE BILLIONAIRE OPENED HIS LATE FATHER'S SECRET VAULT... AND DISCOVERED A LETTER THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING

Within minutes...

Alexander, Emily, Daniel, and the company's legal team arrived at the underground vault beneath Kingston Tower.

His mother, Eleanor Kingston, stood surrounded by security officers.

She looked terrified.

Not angry.

Terrified.

Alexander held up the access card.

"Why were you trying to enter Father's private vault?"

Eleanor closed her eyes.

"Because I prayed you'd never find what was inside."

The heavy steel door slowly opened.

The room had remained untouched for more than twenty years.

Dust covered every shelf.

Family photographs lined the walls.

At the center stood a single black safe.

Alexander entered the final security code.

The safe clicked open.

Inside...

There was no money.

No jewelry.

No stock certificates.

Only three objects.

A leather journal.

A sealed envelope.

And a tiny silver baby bracelet engraved with one name.

Daniel.

Emily quietly handed the envelope to Alexander.

Across the front, written in his father's unmistakable handwriting, were the words:

"To my sons... if you are reading this together, then I have failed to protect you."

Alexander's hands shook as he unfolded the letter.

"The danger never came from outside our family.

It came from someone sitting at our own dinner table.

I separated you because I believed it was the only way to keep you alive.

If the truth is ever revealed, trust no one until you finish reading my journal.

One person you have loved all your life has been lying to you from the very beginning."

The room fell silent.

Alexander slowly lifted his eyes toward his mother.

Eleanor was crying uncontrollably.

"No..."

"It wasn't me."

Before anyone could ask another question—

The lights inside the vault suddenly went out.

Darkness swallowed the room.

Emergency alarms began blaring throughout the building.

Red warning lights flashed across the walls.

A security guard shouted through the radio.

"Mr. Kingston!"

"The building has been breached!"

"Someone just stole the journal!"

Alexander's heart stopped.

The journal...

The only thing that revealed the identity of the real enemy...

Had disappeared.

And whoever took it had escaped into the darkness before anyone saw their face.
