CHAPTER 2 – The Hidden Recordings That Changed Everything

"I want every recording."
Emiliano's voice barely rose above a whisper.
The security chief hesitated.
"There are... months of archived footage."
"Every second."
Within minutes, hundreds of hours of recordings appeared on the screens.
Date after date.
Week after week.
Every time Emiliano had traveled...
The same pattern repeated.
Patricia waited until his car disappeared.
Then the mansion became a prison.
...
The first recording was six months old.
Martina accidentally spilled orange juice.
Patricia forced the six-year-old girl to kneel on uncooked rice for almost an hour.
"Maybe pain will teach you to be careful."
Little Martina silently bit her lip until it bled.
She never cried.
Because Patricia had forbidden crying.
"If I hear one tear...
You'll stay here longer."
Emiliano covered his mouth.
His daughter had gone to school that afternoon smiling.
No one knew.
Not even him.
...
Another recording.
Three months later.
Daniela came home with a perfect math test.
Ninety-nine out of one hundred.
She proudly showed Patricia.
Instead of congratulating her...
Patricia tore the paper in half.
"Second place is still losing."
Daniela quietly picked the pieces off the floor.
That night Rosa stayed awake until two in the morning helping tape the certificate back together.
The little girl had fallen asleep with her head resting on Rosa's shoulder.
Not because Rosa was the maid.
Because Rosa was the only safe place she had.
...
Another recording.
The garden.
Rain pouring.
Martina shivering outside.
Patricia had locked both sisters outdoors because they laughed too loudly.
Rosa secretly wrapped them in blankets while pretending to water flowers.
When Patricia noticed...
She threatened to fire Rosa immediately.
"I'll tell Emiliano you stole jewelry."
Rosa answered calmly,
"If protecting children is stealing...
Then I'm guilty."
Even then...
She never defended herself.
She defended the girls.
Every single time.
...
Hour after hour...
Emiliano watched.
Every accusation Patricia had whispered against Rosa...
Was actually describing herself.
Every manipulation.
Every lie.
Every cruel act.
She had simply changed the names.
By midnight...
The billionaire was no longer crying.
He was furious.
The kind of fury built from regret.
The kind that destroys empires.
Then...
The security chief suddenly paused one recording.
"Sir..."
"What?"
"You need to hear this."
The footage came from three nights earlier.
Patricia stood alone in the study.
She believed no cameras recorded audio there.
She was wrong.
Her phone was on speaker.
A man's voice laughed.
"Once you're married...
Everything transfers?"
Patricia smiled.
"Almost everything."
"And the girls?"
Silence.
Then Patricia answered with chilling calm.
"They'll be sent to boarding school overseas."
The man laughed again.
"Easier that way."
Patricia took a sip of wine.
"Children inherit problems.
Without them...
Nothing complicates the estate."
The glass shattered in Emiliano's hand.
Blood dripped across the control panel.
But he didn't even notice.
Because the next sentence froze every person in the room.
"If Emiliano ever discovers the truth..."
Patricia smiled.
"...he won't live long enough to tell anyone."
The room went completely silent.
This had never been about marriage.
It had never been about love.
May you like
It had been about eliminating an entire family.
And Emiliano had invited the danger into his own home.
