CHAPTER 2 – The Humiliation Everyone Witnessed

Victoria slammed both hands onto the table.

The crystal glasses rattled.

"I'll ask only once," she said loudly enough for every guest to hear.

"Leave."

Marina's face turned pale.

"Ms. Victoria... please... she's our guest..."

Victoria spun around.

"If you defend her one more time, you're fired."

Marina lowered her head, terrified.

Several wealthy diners quietly nodded in agreement.

Others looked away, pretending not to notice.

Only a few seemed uncomfortable.

The woman in the wheelchair remained perfectly calm.

She slowly folded her napkin.

"I don't wish to cause trouble," she said softly.

Victoria smirked.

"Good. Then roll yourself out before security carries you."

A few people actually laughed.

One businessman even whispered,

"Finally... someone said it."

Marina's eyes filled with tears.

"I'm so sorry..."

The woman gently reached for Marina's trembling hand.

"You've done nothing wrong."

Then...

She slowly reached into her handbag.

Everyone expected her to take out her wallet...

Instead...

She pulled out a small black phone.

Without raising her voice...

Without looking angry...

She calmly pressed one number.

Then she spoke only six quiet words.

"Please come inside. It's time."

Less than thirty seconds later...

The front doors of the restaurant slowly opened.

And every smile inside the dining room instantly disappeared...
