Chapter 20 - The New World Order

Six Months Later. Amalfi Coast, Italy.

The morning sun bled golden light over the endless blue Mediterranean Sea. A magnificent white cliffside villa overlooked the water, surrounded by blooming lemon trees and quiet peace.

There were no gunshots. No encrypted phones ringing. No mafia turfs to defend.

Using the Iron Ledger's wealth, Simone and Adrienne had legally dismantled the criminal underworld, converting all illicit assets into global charitable foundations and legitimate economic infrastructure. The syndicates were gone, replaced by a peaceful, legal dynasty.

Adrienne Romano stood on the terrace, wearing a casual white linen shirt, holding two steaming cups of coffee.

He walked up to the edge of the terrace where Simone stood, her natural curls blowing softly in the sea breeze, dressed in a simple, beautiful white sundress. She was no longer carrying the weight of the world—only peace.

Adrienne set the coffee down on the table—putting hers on the right side.

Simone picked up her mug, took a sip, and smiled.

"You remembered," she murmured gently.

Adrienne pulled her into his arms, kissing her softly beneath the warm Italian sun.

"I spent five years ignoring the most incredible woman in the world," Adrienne whispered against her lips, his dark eyes filled with endless, fiery devotion. "I'm going to spend the rest of my life making sure you never feel invisible again."

Simone laughed—that warm, real, unprotected laugh he had first heard at his birthday party.

She rested her head against his chest, looking out over the sparkling ocean, knowing that the former mafia boss and his executive secretary had finally conquered the world—together.
