Within seconds, he was zip-tied and pinned face-down in the dust.
Ryan was cowering behind a stack of wooden pallets, shaking uncontrollably, tears streaming down his face as he looked up and saw me walking slowly into the warehouse through the smoke.

"What truth?" he choked out.
"A quiet wife isn't weak," I whispered, standing back up and smoothing the lapel of my coat. "She's just listening. And when she finally decides to speak, the whole world listens back."

I turned away, gesturing to the security detail as they dragged Marcus Vance toward the waiting transport vehicles, while another pair of guards hauled Ryan to his feet.
"Hand him over to federal marshals," I told the head of security without looking back. "And make sure the judge sees every single ledger, every shell corporation, and every piece of evidence we collected."
