Chapter 6 - The Final JusticeThe heavy glass doors of the luxury showroom swung open with a resounding thud.

Three federal agents in black tactical gear stepped inside, their badges gleaming under the crystal chandeliers. They marched directly past the weeping socialites and stopped in front of Marcus and Elena Vance.

"Marcus Vance," the lead agent announced in a stern, professional tone. "You are under arrest for corporate fraud, money laundering, and the embezzlement of public funds. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law."

Before Marcus could utter a single word of protest, cold steel handcuffs were snapped firmly around his wrists. He was hoisted to his feet by the agents, his expensive custom-tailored suit wrinkling as he was dragged backward toward the exit.

Elena shrieked hysterically as she saw her father being led away in chains. She scrambled across the floor, trying to grab onto his jacket. "Daddy! Daddy, help me! Don't let them take me!"

A second female agent stepped forward, pulling Elena up by her arms with unyielding force.

"Elena Vance," the agent stated coldly, clicking a second pair of cuffs around her delicate, diamond-adorned wrists. "You are detained as an accomplice in connection with financial fraud and asset concealment under federal investigation."

"No! No! You can't do this to me! Do you know who I am?!" Elena screamed at the top of her lungs, thrashing wildly as the agents dragged her toward the waiting federal transport van parked outside. Her voice echoed off the marble walls of the showroom until the heavy glass doors closed, cutting off her frantic cries.

The showroom fell into a profound, heavy silence.

The remaining clients and staff stood motionless, staring at Maya as if she were a deity who had just descended from the heavens to pass absolute judgment on the wicked.

Harrison Sterling walked over to his daughter, a proud, warm smile breaking across his stern face. He gently placed a hand on Maya’s uninjured shoulder, his eyes softening with deep paternal affection.

"You handled that with absolute grace and precision, my girl," Harrison said softly. "Much better than I would have at your age."

Maya let out a long, slow breath, the intense adrenaline of the confrontation finally beginning to fade from her veins. She reached up and touched her left cheek where Elena's hand had struck her earlier. The skin was still slightly red, but the pain was entirely gone, replaced by a profound sense of closure and strength.

"I just wanted to teach them a lesson, Dad," Maya said quietly, her voice regaining its warm, natural tone. "Money and status are tools to build things, not weapons to crush people who have less."

"Well," Henderson added respectfully, stepping forward with a fresh, pristine designer gown draped elegantly over his arm—a magnificent creation of white silk and subtle gold embroidery that outshined the one that had been destroyed. "If you are finished inspecting your new property, Miss Sterling... shall we proceed with fitting your wedding dress?"

Maya looked down at the stunning gown, then glanced up at her father with a genuine, radiant smile.

"Let's," she said softly. "And make sure the price tag reflects its true value—priceless."
