That night, a gentle breeze rustled through the jasmine vines outside the conservatory windows.
Lorenzo and Isabella stood on the second-story balcony, looking out over the sprawling, peaceful grounds of the estate. Down below, Bruno let out a soft huff in his sleep, turning over on the warm stone patio.
Isabella leaned her head on Lorenzo’s shoulder, her hand resting over his heart. "Do you ever think about what would have happened if Emma hadn't walked into your study that morning?"
