Chapter 3 - The Architect’s BlueprintThe revelation hung in the air like a physical blow. The wealthy guests who had mocked Clara minutes ago now stood paralyzed, smartphones out, recording the unfolding nightmare live to millions across social media. The hashtag #VanceGate was already trending globally.

Clara stared at the screen, her initial shock hardening into a cold, unbreakable resolve. The trembling in her hands stopped. The vulnerable, humiliated woman who had wept over a torn dress was gone. In her place stood the cold, brilliant architect who had built a multi-million-dollar empire from scratch—before they stole her memories of it.

"Play the financial records," Clara commanded, her voice terrifyingly calm as it echoed through the silent ballroom.

The security tech at the console hesitated, looking at Mr. Vance, who was now cornered against the buffet table, sweating profusely.

"I said, play the financial records!" Clara repeated, stepping forward with an aura that commanded absolute obedience.

The screen shifted. Detailed bank ledgers, offshore shell companies, and patent filings flooded the display. The Vance family fortune—supposedly built on generations of real estate and shipping—was a lie. Their entire empire was built on a single, stolen foundation: Clara’s original proprietary blueprints for sustainable, neural-linked smart infrastructure, patented under a fake name six months before she "met" Julian.

"They didn't just steal my memories, and they didn't just want my money," Clara whispered, her eyes locking onto Mr. and Mrs. Vance. "They stole my entire identity. They used me to build their tech empire, wiped my brain so I wouldn't remember inventing it, and then married me to keep the patents legally locked inside the family trust."

Mrs. Vance sneered, dropping the mask of upper-class civility entirely. Her face twisted into a snarl. "And what if they did? You're just a vessel, Clara! Without us, you're an amnesiac walking the streets with no past, no family, and no proof! The courts will never believe a traumatized pregnant woman over the Vance estate!"

"The courts?" Clara let out a sharp, humorless laugh. "Mrs. Vance, you think this ends in a courtroom?"

She turned to the chief of security, whose tablet was still connected to the local network. "Send the complete encryption key of Project Genesis to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and every major news outlet in the country. Now."

"Done," the guard replied instantly, hitting enter.

Across the globe, thousands of servers synchronized. The Vance family’s firewall crumbled in less than three seconds. Their offshore accounts were flagged, their stock value began an immediate, catastrophic freefall, and arrest warrants for corporate espionage, illegal human experimentation, and kidnapping were automatically dispatched to local law enforcement.
