Chapter 7 - THE FINAL GAMBIT

Vanessa realized she was trapped in a chess game that had started decades ago. Desperation replaced her fear. If she was already ruined, she had nothing left to lose.
"You think you’ve won, Andrew?" Vanessa laughed bitterly, wiping the tears from her cheeks. "You think you’re the master strategist? Check your private server."
Andrew’s eyes flickered with a rare moment of surprise. He pulled out his phone and opened his security portal.
"While you were enjoying your power trip over the last three months," Vanessa said, her voice turning sharp and deadly, "I was gathering evidence of Vance Global’s illegal offshore transfers. The moment I opened that file ten minutes ago, an automated system forwarded every document of Project Mirror to the Federal Investigation Bureau."
Andrew froze.
"You ruined my father," Vanessa hissed, taking a step toward him. "You humiliated me. But in your obsession with revenge, you became arrogant, Andrew. You left your personal keys on your home network. Did you really think I was just playing the piano for you?"

Andrew looked at his phone screen. The breach was confirmed. His empire was unraveling in real-time.
