CHAPTER 1 — "You're in the Wrong Room."

The boardroom on the 47th floor of Sterling Global had never been so tense.
Eight executives sat around a polished walnut table, preparing to vote on the biggest corporate merger in the company's history. Billions of dollars—and thousands of jobs—depended on the decision.
No one noticed the elderly janitor quietly pushing his cleaning cart through the hallway.
His name was Samuel Brooks.
Gray-haired. Wrinkled. Wearing a faded blue maintenance uniform that looked decades old.
To everyone else, he was invisible.
As Samuel reached the conference room, the automatic doors slid open.
Every executive turned.
Silence.
Then laughter.
"What are you doing here?" one director sneered.
"The cleaning schedule is after the meeting."
Another executive rolled his eyes.
"Someone tell security the janitor got lost."
Samuel didn't move.
Instead, he looked calmly around the room.
"I was invited."
The room exploded with laughter.
The chairman slammed his hand on the table.
"Invited? By whom?"
Samuel's expression never changed.
"You'll find out soon."
One young vice president stood up and pointed toward the hallway.
"Either leave now... or we'll have you escorted out."
The humiliation grew worse.
Someone secretly recorded the scene.
Someone whispered,
"This is going viral."
But Samuel simply folded his hands behind his back and waited.
Not nervous.
Not angry.
Almost...
...as if he already knew exactly what was about to happen.
Then the elevator doors opened.
Every conversation stopped.
A woman wearing a black executive suit stepped out, followed by six security officers.
She wasn't carrying documents.
She wasn't smiling.
She walked directly toward Samuel.
And before anyone could understand why...
She bowed her head.
May you like
"Good morning, Mr. Brooks."
The room froze.
