CHAPTER 2 — The Bloodiest Fight Never Happened

The next morning...
The prison yard buzzed with anticipation.
Hundreds of inmates gathered in a wide circle.
Even guards pretended not to notice.
Everyone wanted to see the newcomer destroyed.
Raven entered first.
She cracked her knuckles.
Her followers cheered.
"Finish her!"
"Teach the rookie a lesson!"
Emma arrived moments later.
Still expressionless.
Still calm.
No warm-up.
No trash talk.
No fear.
The prison bell echoed across the yard.
One guard muttered,
"This won't last thirty seconds."
Raven charged like a freight train.
Her first punch could knock out almost anyone.
But...
Emma disappeared.
The punch hit nothing.
Raven stumbled.
Confused.
Before anyone understood what happened...
Emma lightly tapped Raven's shoulder.
"You swing too wide."
The crowd froze.
Raven roared with rage.
She attacked again.
Faster.
Harder.
Wild combinations.
Each one missed by inches.
Emma never threw a punch.
She simply stepped aside.
Again.
Again.
Again.
Within a minute...
The most feared inmate in the prison was breathing heavily.
Sweat poured down her face.
Emma's heartbeat barely changed.
One prisoner whispered,
"Who is she?"
Another answered,
"No ordinary criminal moves like that."
Raven finally pulled out a sharpened piece of metal hidden inside her sleeve.
The crowd gasped.
Now it wasn't a fight anymore.
It was attempted murder.
The guards rushed forward—
But Emma suddenly spoke.
"Don't."
Everyone stopped.
Even Raven hesitated.
Emma looked directly at her.
"If you use that..."
"You'll never learn why you're losing."
Something inside Raven cracked.
For the first time in twelve years...
Someone wasn't trying to humiliate her.
They were trying to teach her.
Raven lowered the weapon...
Just slightly.
Then the prison sirens screamed.
Every gate slammed shut.
A voice blasted through the loudspeakers.
"LOCKDOWN! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!"
Armed prisoners had escaped from another block...
And they were heading straight toward the yard.
May you like
The fight was over.
A far greater nightmare had just begun.
