Chapter 7 - The Geneva SiegeBlood on the SnowTwenty-three hours later. Geneva, Switzerland.

A blizzard battered the outer perimeter of the heavily guarded alpine estate belonging to the Black Syndicate. High-voltage fences, thermal cameras, and fifty heavily armed mercenaries patrolled the grounds.
Inside the warmth of the glass-walled penthouse overlooking Lake Geneva, Gabriel Vance poured himself a glass of aged cognac. The takeover of the Farrell shipping lines was complete. Millions of dollars were pouring into his accounts every hour.
"Any movement from Farrell?" Gabriel asked his head of security.
"None, sir," the officer replied. "He sold his private jet in Paris for cash and disappeared. He’s broke. He has no resources left to mount an attack."
"Pity," Gabriel chuckled, taking a sip of his drink. "I was hoping he’d try something heroic."
Suddenly, the power across the entire estate went pitch black.
The glass wall of the penthouse didn't shatter—it violently detonated inward as two heavy flashbang grenades bounced across the hardwood floor.
Before the guards could react, a figure clad in night-vision gear swung into the room from a tactical line attached to the roof.
It was Dominic.
He didn't come with an army. He didn't come with heavy artillery. He came with absolute, unadulterated vengeance.
Dominic opened fire with dual suppressed pistols. Headshot. Headshot. Heart shot. The room exploded into a silent ballet of death. Three guards fell before they even drew their weapons.
Gabriel dropped his cognac glass, reaching for the panic button under his desk.
A high-velocity knife cut through the air, embedding itself deeply into Gabriel's hand, pinning it to the mahogany desk. Gabriel screamed in agony.
From the shattered glass window, a second figure dropped quietly onto the floor, moving like a shadow through the snow and smoke.
Elena.
She walked slowly toward Gabriel, her eyes devoid of mercy, holding a heavy-caliber revolver.
"You brought him to my doorstep?" Gabriel gasped through the pain, blood pooling on his desk around the knife. "You brought a dead man with no money?"
"He didn't need money to get here, Father," Elena said coldly, stopping right in front of him. "He had me. And I know every single weakness in your security grid. I built it."
Dominic stepped out of the shadows, reloading his pistol with a crisp, mechanical clack.
"Where is the master key, Gabriel?" Dominic asked.
May you like
Gabriel laughed, blood bubbling at the corner of his lips. "It's hard-coded into the Syndicate's mainframe downstairs! But you'll never reach it! The automated security locks down the entire bunker in thirty seconds!"
"Then you'd better start typing," Dominic said, pressing the scorching barrel of his pistol against Gabriel's temple.
