One sunny afternoon, as Jordan walked past the renovated science wing, he stopped outside Lab 304.
The room looked entirely different. The old, hidden analog setups were gone, replaced by state-of-the-art, fully transparent digital nodes that streamed diagnostic logs directly to a public ledger accessible by every student in the building. No one could ever shut off the system in secret again.
Maya walked up beside him, sipping an iced coffee and leaning her shoulder against his.
"Penny for your thoughts, Mr. Chairman," she teased softly, bumping her arm against his.
Jordan smiled, looking through the crystal-clear glass windows into the brightly lit laboratory where a new generation of students was conducting experiments without fear or intimidation.
