Chapter 8 - The Hammer FallsThe gavel came down with a sharp, definitive crack that echoed like a gunshot through the courtroom.

"For the charges of wire fraud, grand larceny, corporate embezzlement, and conspiracy, this court sentences Dominic Sterling to twelve years in federal prison without the possibility of parole. Ms. Miller is sentenced to five years."
Gasps erupted from the gallery.

Julian walked out the front steps, adjusting his sunglasses as a wall of reporters rushed toward him with microphones flashing.
"Mr. Sterling! Mr. Sterling! Does Lady Vivian have any comment on today’s verdict?" shouted a reporter from the front row.
Julian stopped, looking directly into the camera lens with an expression of absolute calm and unbreakable authority.

"My sister’s name is Vivian Sterling," Julian said clearly. "And she has only one message for the world: empires built on lies will always turn to dust. But true strength... true strength belongs to those who build from the heart."
Without another word, Julian stepped into a waiting black town car, leaving the media circus behind him.
