"What are you talking about?" Claire asked.

"Five years ago, Arthur was the one who hired me to seduce Evan!" Leah revealed, crying hysterically. "He paid Marcus Vance to set up the scheme! Arthur promised Marcus thirty percent of Rowan Meridian if Marcus helped humiliate Evan. Arthur engineered everything from day one!"

"Why are you telling me this now, Leah?"

"Because Arthur gave me a package yesterday," Leah gasped. "He told me to plant it in your Napa Valley house to make you look insane. But I opened it, Claire... inside was a vial of digitalis poison... the exact same poison your father died from fifteen years ago!"
