Chapter 20 - No More Secrets

Six months later, the morning sun broke golden over a quiet coastal beach. Daniel, Emily, and Noah stood near the edge of the water, scattering white rose petals into the rolling waves in honor of Evelyn. Noah held his grandfather's hand tightly, laughing as the cool ocean foam washed over his rain boots. Daniel knelt beside his grandson, pulling him into a warm embrace, feeling an unshakeable sense of freedom and peace.
"Look, Grandpa," Noah said, pointing toward the bright horizon. "The sky is completely clear today."
Daniel smiled, looking at his daughter and grandson, knowing that their long night was over and their family was finally safe. "Yes it is, buddy. No more shadows, and no more secrets."
