Chapter 1

The sun was beginning to set over the exclusive Hacienda San Gabriel, nestled in the heart of Valle de Bravo, painting the sky in breathtaking shades of gold and amber.
The estate, reserved only for Mexico's most powerful families, had been transformed into a paradise of thousands of imported white orchids.
It was the social event of the year.
The wedding of Alejandro and Isabella Garza, the heiress to one of Mexico's largest hotel empires.
Among the guests were governors, Forbes-listed billionaires, influential business magnates, and members of the country's old-money elite from Monterrey and Mexico City.
Alejandro stood proudly at the altar in a flawless white designer tuxedo.
His face carried the unmistakable arrogance of a man who believed he had finally escaped his ordinary past and secured a permanent place among the richest families in the nation.
Beside him, Isabella sparkled beneath the crystal chandeliers suspended over the garden.
Her custom-made gown, handcrafted in Paris and embroidered with genuine diamonds, shimmered with every movement.
Yet her attitude was far less elegant than her appearance.
"So..." Isabella whispered, making sure the front rows could hear every word.
"Where do you think your ex-wife is, darling?"
She smirked.
"Did her bus break down on the highway? Or maybe security mistook her for one of the cleaning staff and refused to let her in."
Laughter rippled through Isabella's closest friends and Alejandro's relatives.
Alejandro chuckled with open contempt.
"Forget about her," he replied.
"She's probably too embarrassed to come."
"You know people like her."
"She wouldn't want to show up wearing thrift-store clothes at a place like this."
More laughter echoed across the lavish garden.
For a brief moment, Alejandro's mind drifted back five years...
A tiny rented apartment in the Doctores district of Mexico City.
Rain hammered against the windows that night as he threw Valeria's suitcases onto the flooded sidewalk.
"You are worth nothing, Valeria!" he had shouted without a trace of remorse.
"You're nothing more than a cashier with no future."
"Isabella is offering me a world of luxury, influence, and connections."
"She can give me everything your pathetic salary never could."
"Face it."
"We were never meant to live in the same world."
What Alejandro never knew...
Was that Valeria was already one month pregnant.
She was carrying his twins.
Broken by betrayal but unwilling to beg for love, Valeria swallowed every tear.
She picked up what remained of her dignity...
And disappeared from Alejandro's life forever.
For the next five years, she faced the world alone.
She worked impossible hours.
She used her extraordinary talent for finance to build companies from nothing.
Quietly...
Patiently...
She transformed herself into the founder of a corporate empire worth hundreds of millions.
Her life had finally become peaceful...
Until, just weeks before the wedding, an elegant ivory envelope with gold lettering arrived at her luxurious penthouse in Polanco.
Inside was an invitation to "The Wedding of the Century."
Attached was a handwritten note from Alejandro.
"Valeria...
I wanted you to witness what I've become.
I'm finally a successful man.
Don't worry—I reserved you a seat in the very last row so you won't feel too embarrassed by your appearance."
Even after five years...
He still wanted to humiliate her.
Back in the present...
The laughter filling Hacienda San Gabriel suddenly stopped.
A powerful, elegant engine roared through the evening air.
The string quartet froze mid-performance.
The ground itself seemed to tremble as an extraordinary vehicle rolled through the estate's massive iron gates.
Every politician...
Every billionaire...
Every socialite...
Turned toward the entrance.
Security guards rushed to pull the gates completely open.
A black Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII, one of the world's rarest limited editions, glided slowly along the stone driveway with effortless authority.
The vehicle came to a perfect stop at the very beginning of the red carpet.
Silence consumed the garden.
The music stopped.
Not a single guest dared speak.
Two bodyguards in perfectly tailored black suits stepped out first, taking their positions on either side of the rear door.
Then...
The rear passenger door slowly began to open.
The entire estate seemed to stop breathing.
No one...
May you like
Not even Alejandro...
Could have imagined what they were about to see.
