Chapter 2 - THE REIGN OF THE TRUE QUEEN

🔥 BREAKING: THE BILLION-DOLLAR REVENGE! The Moment the Traitor Realized He Messed with the Wrong Woman! 🔥The heavy, soundproof door of the Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII swung open with a slow, deliberate grace.
A stiletto heel, crafted from custom midnight-black Italian leather and tipped with a subtle gold accent, touched the crimson carpet.
The crowd held its collective breath.
When Valeria stepped out of the vehicle, a low, audible gasp rippled through the hundreds of elite guests. This was not the broken, tear-stained girl Alejandro had thrown into the rain five years ago. This was an empress.
She wore an emerald-green silk gown designed by a reclusive haute couture master. It draped flawlessly over her statuesque silhouette, exuding an aura of absolute power and effortless wealth. Her dark hair was styled in an elegant, modern updo, exposing a diamond choker that caught the light of the crystal chandeliers, flashing with an intensity that made Isabella’s diamond-embroidered gown look like cheap costume jewelry. Her eyes, cold and sharp as polished obsidian, scanned the crowd before locking directly onto the altar.
But it wasn't just her breathtaking transformation that paralyzed the audience.
From the other side of the vehicle, the door opened. Two immaculate, four-year-old children stepped out, holding hands.
A boy and a girl.
The boy wore a miniature, bespoke black tuxedo, his hair neatly combed, walking with an innate confidence that completely outclassed the groom. The girl wore a delicate, matching emerald-green dress, her curls bouncing with every step.
As they walked into the light, the resemblance was undeniable. They possessed the striking, aristocratic facial features that Alejandro always boasted came from his "superior lineage"—but their eyes held the deep, piercing intelligence of Valeria.
"Oh my God," a prominent senator’s wife whispered from the third row. "Look at those children. They are his spitting image."
Alejandro’s face drained of all color. The smug, arrogant smirk he had worn just seconds prior shattered into a million pieces. His breath hitched in his throat, his hands trembling inside his white designer pockets.
Twins.
He calculated the timeline in a frantic, terrifying flash of realization. Five years. She had been pregnant when he kicked her out. She had borne his bloodline in secret while he was busy chasing the Garza family fortune.
Isabella’s face turned a violent shade of crimson. Her eyes darted from the beautiful children to Alejandro’s ghost-white face. "Alejandro..." she hissed, her voice vibrating with pure rage. "What is the meaning of this? Who are those bastards?!"
Valeria didn't say a word. She simply smiled—a calm, devastating smile—and began walking down the red carpet. Her bodyguards walked a respectful two paces behind her, their broad shoulders ensuring no one dared cross her path.
As she approached the front rows, the security detail of Hacienda San Gabriel rushed forward, led by a frantic wedding coordinator.
"Madam! Stop right there!" the coordinator yelled, sweating profusely. "This is a private event for the highest echelon of society! You are not on the guest list! Guards, remove her and these children immediately!"
Alejandro felt a sudden surge of desperate confidence. He stepped down from the altar, trying to salvage his dignity in front of Mexico’s billionaires. "Valeria," he said, his voice loud enough for the microphone to catch it, though it lacked its usual bite. "I invited you out of pity. But bringing these... these strangers to cause a scene? Security, throw her out! She’s just a bitter cashier trying to ruin my wedding!"
Isabella laughed hysterically. "Exactly! Get this trash out of our sight! She probably rented that car with her life savings just to look important!"
The security guards moved in, reaching for Valeria’s arms.
"Touch her, and your entire agency will be bankrupt by midnight," a cold, authoritative voice boomed from behind the security line.
Everyone turned. Walking briskly toward Valeria was none other than Carlos Garza—Isabella’s multi-billionaire father, the patriarch of the Garza hotel empire. But he wasn't angry at Valeria. He was pale, trembling, and bowing his head in absolute reverence.
"Mr. Garza!" Alejandro cried out, confused. "Don't worry, my men are handling this crazy woman—"
"Shut your mouth, you fool!" Carlos Garza roared, turning on Alejandro with a look of pure terror. He then turned back to Valeria, swallowing hard. "Madam Valeria... I had no idea you were the ex-wife Alejandro spoke of. Please, accept my humblest apologies. If I had known you were graces us with your presence, I would have crawled to the gates to welcome you myself."
The entire garden descended into a suffocating, bewildered silence.
The great Carlos Garza—a man who dictated tourism policies and held the keys to the country’s luxury real estate—was bowing to a woman he had just labeled a "thrift-store cashier."
Valeria looked down at Carlos, her expression completely unbothered. "Get up, Carlos. You’re embarrassing your guests."
"Valeria, what is going on?!" Alejandro demanded, his voice cracking as the reality of the situation began to twist in his gut. "Who do you think you are?!"

Valeria finally looked Alejandro dead in the eye, her voice smooth as silk yet cutting like a diamond.
"I am the woman you told was worth nothing," she said softly, her words echoing through the silent estate. "And as for where I am sitting... I won't be needing the last row, Alejandro. Because I didn't come here as a guest. I came here as the new owner of Hacienda San Gabriel. And by the end of tonight, I will own everything you think you possess."
