Emily drove through the pouring rain with black SUVs only meters behind her.
Her phone contained the recording.
If Damien caught her...
Everything was over.
She turned sharply onto an old mountain road.
One SUV lost control.
Another slammed into a guardrail.
Only Damien's vehicle remained.

A massive truck appeared between them.
Emily escaped into the darkness.
She didn't know the truck driver.

She headed straight to the only person she still trusted.
Professor Benjamin Ross.
Her former nursing instructor.
Now one of the country's leading neurologists.
After examining the hidden syringe and listening to Damien's confession...
The professor looked horrified.
"This isn't just attempted murder."
"It's one of the largest medical conspiracies I've ever seen."
He immediately contacted a federal medical investigator he trusted.
A secret operation was organized before dawn.
Meanwhile...
Inside Blackwood Medical Estate...
Damien received devastating news.
"Sir..."
"The nurse escaped."
Damien smashed a crystal glass against the wall.
"Then kill Alexander tonight."
"If he wakes up...
Everything ends."
Just after midnight, Damien and Dr. Warren entered Alexander's room carrying a fatal injection disguised as cardiac medication.
They approached the bed.
Dr. Warren lifted the syringe.
Then...
Alexander's hand suddenly grabbed his wrist.
Tightly.
Impossible.
The syringe fell onto the floor.
Damien stumbled backward in horror.
Alexander slowly opened his eyes for the first time in over two years.
His voice was weak.
Hoarse.
But every word echoed through the room.

Word."
At that exact moment...
Federal investigators, accompanied by armed officers and medical inspectors, burst through the doors.
Emily stood behind them.
Holding the recording.
Holding the stolen syringe.
Holding every piece of evidence Damien thought had been buried forever.
Damien's face turned white.
