CHAPTER 7 – The Secret Vault Beneath the Mansion
Olivia's testimony shattered the case overnight.
News stations called Ryan the "Black Widow Husband."
Police searched every property he owned.
But Ryan kept repeating the same sentence.
"You'll never find it."
Find what?
Forty-eight hours later, investigators arrived at Ryan's luxurious mansion with a warrant.
Every room looked spotless.
Every document appeared legal.
There was nothing.
Until Emily remembered something Ryan once said during a power outage.
"Never touch the wine cellar."
The detectives forced open the heavy steel door beneath the mansion.
Behind rows of expensive wine bottles stood an old brick wall.
