Chapter 10 - A New Foundation

Six months later, the spring sun streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows of our San Diego penthouse, illuminating a nursery painted in soft, neutral tones.
In my arms cradled a healthy, sleeping baby boy—our son, Leo.
Savannah walked into the nursery, carrying a cup of coffee, looking more radiant and powerful than ever. "Of course we did," I smiled, wrapping an arm around her waist. "Nobody says no to Savannah Miller."
"Except you," she teased, raising an eyebrow. "Remember when you tried to kick your mother out with just a suitcase?"
"Hey," I laughed softly. "That suitcase cost 8.5 million dollars."
"More like ninety-eight point five," she corrected with a wink.

What do you think Savannah’s next move will be now that she controls both the business and her family's legacy?
