Chapter 19 - A NEW DAWN OVER THE ESTATEThree weeks later, the skies above the Sterling estate were clear and bright.

The corporate restructuring of Sterling Industries was fully reversed, The Vanguard Foundation was dissolved under federal investigation, and Evelyn and Julian were safely locked away awaiting a joint trial for high-level corporate terrorism and conspiracy.

The estate was peaceful once again. No whispers behind walls, no hidden cameras, and no ghosts from the past lurking in the shadows.

Arthur sat on the back patio, sipping a cup of coffee while watching the morning sun rise over the manicured gardens.

Footsteps approached from behind, and a pair of small, warm arms wrapped gently around his waist. Arthur turned around to see Leo smiling brightly, wearing a crisp new school uniform, carrying a bright red backpack.

"Dad, are you ready? The school bus is going to be here in five minutes," Leo said, his eyes full of excitement and normal, healthy childhood energy.

Arthur smiled, standing up and setting his coffee cup down. He picked up Leo’s lunchbox and handed it to him.

"I'm always ready, captain," Arthur said warmly, walking hand-in-hand with his son down the long stone pathway toward the front gates.

As the yellow school bus pulled up to the curb, Leo turned back, gave his father a bright wave, and hopped up the steps into a bus full of cheering classmates.

Arthur watched the bus drive away down the tree-lined street until it disappeared from sight. He took a deep breath of the fresh morning air, knowing that the dark chapter of the past was finally closed forever.
