Chapter 7 - War in the Boardroom

The grand boardroom on the 80th floor of the Harrington Tower was filled with international investors, news reporters, and wealthy board members. At the head of the long mahogany table stood Eleanor Harrington, holding a gold fountain pen over the merger documents.
"Ladies and gentlemen," Eleanor announced smoothly into the microphone. "Due to my son Michael’s tragic mental breakdown and sudden disappearance, I, as majority stakeholder, hereby sign over the complete liquidation of Harrington Group to..."
BOOM!
The heavy oak boardroom doors burst open off their hinges, slamming into the marble wall!
Silence fell over the high-society crowd as Michael Harrington walked into the room. He wore his finest black suit, looking every bit the commanding sovereign of Manhattan.
Beside him walked Elena Vance, radiant in a tailored white suit, her head held high. And behind them, hand-in-hand, walked the four identical quadruplet girls—Chloe, Clara, Cleo, and Cami—looking like four little princesses.
Eleanor dropped her gold pen, her face turning as white as a sheet. "Michael?! How... what is this madness?!"
"The madness is over, Mother," Michael said, his voice echoing with absolute authority throughout the silent room.
He gestured to Evan, who plugged a encrypted drive into the main projector system. Instantly, the giant screens across the boardroom lit up, displaying audio recordings, bank statements, and wiretap transcripts.
"Ten years ago, Eleanor Harrington and Victoria Vance murdered my father, framed Elena Vance for embezzlement, and stole her inheritance," Michael declared turning to the terrified board members. "And for the last nine years, my mother tried to starve her own grandchildren on the streets of New York!"
Gasps of horror erupted across the room! Reporters flashed cameras rapidly, broadcasting the footage live across national television!
"This is a lie! Arrest them!" Eleanor shrieked, backing away.

"It’s over, Eleanor," Elena said stepping forward, her voice ringing clear and steady. "You thought you broke me. You thought throwing me into the dirt would destroy me. But you forgot one thing..."
Elena pulled a sleek velvet binder from her briefcase and slammed it onto the mahogany table.
