Chapter 9 - THE FALL OF THE CARTEL"You can't do this!" Julian shrieked, backing away as federal agents grabbed his arms and snapped heavy steel handcuffs onto his wrists. "This company belongs to me! I built it!"

"You stole it," Emma corrected coldly as agents hauled Julian away in chains.

Celeste tried to slip out through the side service doors, but Marcus Vance stepped out from the shadows, blocking her path with a cold, unyielding glare.

"Going somewhere, Miss Vance?" Marcus asked smoothly, snapping zip-ties around her wrists. "Federal custody is much more comfortable than you think."

Emma turned around, walking slowly off the stage.

Waiting for her at the bottom of the steps was her father. Tears shone in the old man's eyes as he opened his arms.

Emma rushed forward, burying her face into her father’s shoulder, letting out the breath she had been holding for an entire week.

"You did it, my girl," Arthur whispered, kissing her forehead. "Your mother would have been so proud."
