Chapter 6 - The Confession of the CenturyFlashbulbs illuminated the dark conference room like a lightning storm. Microphones were thrust forward from every angle as journalists swarmed the doors.

Richard Hoffman tried to crawl toward the side exit, but two federal agents stepped into his path, clicking heavy steel handcuffs around his wrists.

"Richard Hoffman," the lead agent announced formally, "you are under arrest for international corporate fraud, money laundering, asset manipulation, and the wrongful destruction of Vanguard Technologies."

As they dragged the screaming, humiliated tycoon past the long table, Richard caught one last glimpse of Maya.

"How?" Richard sobbed, his voice breaking with pure desperation. "How does a twelve-year-old child master seven languages and orchestrate a takedown of this magnitude in under three years?"

Maya looked down at him with eyes devoid of childish warmth, carrying the cold, calculating brilliance of a chess grandmaster who had just delivered a checkmate.

"When you destroy a child's family, Mr. Hoffman, you don't leave them with toys," Maya replied softly, her voice echoing clearly across the media feeds broadcasting live to millions worldwide. "You leave them with a library, a computer, and an endless, burning desire for absolute justice. I didn't just learn seven languages to translate contracts. I learned the languages of your allies, your banks, and your offshore partners so I could speak to them in the exact dialects of their own corruption."

The cameras zoomed in on her face—composed, brilliant, and completely fearless.
