Chapter 6 - The Fall of the TitanThe arrest of Julian West made history. Within hours, live helicopter broadcasts hovered over the West Tower as federal investigators swarmed the building, seizing servers, hard drives, and financial records.

Vivian vanished before the handcuffs even clicked. True to her superficial nature, her legal team issued a public statement by noon annulling the engagement and claiming she was an innocent victim of Julian’s corporate deceit.
Meanwhile, in the quiet, secure penthouse suite, Anna sat by the large bay window, watching the media circus unfold down below.
The door opened softly. Sophie walked in, rubbing her eyes, wearing oversized silk pajamas. She padded across the rug and climbed onto the sofa next to Anna, leaning her head against her shoulder.
"Where is Daddy?" Sophie asked quietly.
Anna wrapped her arms around the little girl, kissing the top of her head. "He’s going to be away for a long time, sweetheart. He has to answer for things he did a long time ago."
"Are you going to stay?" Sophie looked up, fear pooling in her dark eyes. "You won't leave me like the others?"
"I'm not going anywhere," Anna promised, her voice unwavering.
The door clicked open again, and Marcus stepped inside. He wasn't holding a weapon or a tablet; instead, he carried a heavy, worn leather briefcase. He set it down on the coffee table between them.
"The federal warrant gave us access to the private corporate vault," Marcus said, his expression unreadable. He looked at Anna with a new kind of respect—and caution. "You got what you wanted, Anna. Julian is finished. The board is in disarray, and the stock has plummeted by seventy percent."
Anna opened the briefcase. Inside sat stacks of original architectural blueprints, signed contracts, and a flash drive labeled Project Phoenix.
"It’s not about revenge, Marcus," Anna said softly, tracing the faded signature of her mother on the top document. "It’s about restoration."

"There's just one catch," Marcus warned, leaning closer. "Julian didn't act alone. His father was the mastermind, but someone else signed off on the financial cover-up five years ago. Someone who is currently positioning themselves to take over as interim CEO of West Enterprises tomorrow morning."
Anna’s eyes narrowed. "Who?"
