Chapter 20 - THE TRIUMPHANT WEDDING & ETERNAL LEGACYTHE WEDDING OF THE CENTURY: A Mother’s Ultimate Victory and Eternal Triumph!

One year after the day Dominic walked into the NICU with divorce papers and my ivory cashmere coat wrapped around his pregnant mistress, the sun rose over a magnificent summer morning at the Vance Estate.

The grand gardens were transformed into a paradise of white roses, crystal chandeliers, and soft orchestral music. Royalty, heads of state, and world leaders gathered to witness the wedding of the century.

Inside the bride's dressing room, I stood before the full-length mirror.

I wore a custom, breathtaking lace gown that flowed like liquid silk. On my shoulders rested a brand-new, bespoke ivory cashmere cloak—embroidered near my heart in gold thread with four initials: L, C, A, & A.

Liam, Chloe, Audrey, and Alexander.

My grandfather walked into the room, leaning lightly on his cane, his eyes glistening with tears of pure joy.

"You look stunning, my dear," Arthur whispered softly, offering me his arm. "Ready to walk into your new life?"

"I've been ready my whole life, Grandfather," I smiled.

The heavy mahogany doors opened to the grand outdoor aisle. Thousands of guests stood and applauded as Arthur walked me down the carpeted runway toward the altar under the bright, glorious sunlight.

Standing at the end of the aisle was Alexander, looking impossibly handsome in a tailored black tuxedo. Beside him, two loving nurses held Liam and Chloe, who were now healthy, adorable toddlers laughing and clapping their tiny hands.

When Arthur placed my hand in Alexander’s, Alexander leaned down and whispered, "You are the strongest, most incredible woman I have ever known."

"And you are the man who saved my heart," I replied softly.

As the priest pronounced us husband and wife, Alexander pulled me into a deep, passionate kiss under a shower of white rose petals. The crowd erupted into deafening cheers.

Meanwhile, a thousand miles away, inside the padded cell of a high-security psychiatric asylum, a television mounted behind shatterproof glass broadcasted the live wedding.

Dominic Bennett sat strapped to a wheelchair, his eyes wide, staring at the screen.

He watched as I smiled brilliantly into the camera, holding Alexander’s hand, flanked by our healthy, beautiful children and the ancient titan Arthur Vance.

Dominic let out a silent, heartbroken sob as a single tear rolled down his hollow cheek. He had sacrificed everything for greed, arrogance, and a temporary illusion of power—only to watch the woman he thought was helpless reign supreme over the world, utterly invincible, endlessly loved, and forever victorious.
