Chapter 6 - The War RoomDawn broke cold and sharp over New York Harbor.

Inside the subterranean tactical war room beneath Dominic’s estate, twelve of his top captains and enforcers stood around a massive stainless-steel table draped with digital schematics of Maroni stronghold locations across Queens and Brooklyn.

Dominic stood at the head of the table, wearing a crisp black suit, his face carved from granite.

"For five years, a shadow organization used my grief as a weapon," Dominic addressed the room, his voice echoing with absolute authority. "They threatened my family. Tonight, we dismantle every asset they own."

Bruno stepped forward, tapping the holographic display. "Boss, Maroni’s primary financial hub is operating out of a legitimate front—the Atlas Shipping Warehouse on Pier 42. If we hit that, their liquid capital dries up in twenty-four hours."

"Hit it," Dominic commanded coldly. "Leave no survivors who bear arms against us. And secure all ledgers. I want every name connected to Vincent Rossi’s cell on my desk by noon."

As the enforcers filed out of the room to gear up, Dominic remained standing at the table, staring at a small photograph of Lily smiling while holding a crayon drawing—a picture Bruno had discreetly retrieved from the Brooklyn apartment.

A soft knock sounded at the heavy oak door.

Elena walked in, wearing a fresh gray cashmere sweater, her dark hair falling softly around her shoulders. She looked tired, but the terror in her eyes had been replaced by a fierce, quiet strength.

"You're going to war," Elena said, stopping a few feet away from him.

"I'm finishing a war that started five years ago," Dominic corrected softly, walking over to her. He reached out, gently brushing a stray lock of hair behind her ear. "You and Lily are never running again, Elena. I swear it on my life."
