Chapter 3 - THE MISSING PIECE

"Lily is fine... for now," Victoria purred, checking her flawless manicure. "She’s sleeping peacefully upstairs in her pink room. But let’s talk about your legal standing, Arthur. Did you happen to look at the documents you signed last Tuesday? The trust restructuring papers?"

Arthur’s mind spun back to the whirlwind of board meetings and late nights. Victoria had handed him a stack of papers, claiming they were tax optimizations for the foundation.

"You didn't read them, did you?" Victoria chuckled, a dark, chilling sound. "You signed over fifty percent voting rights of the entire enterprise to my private holding company. Legally, mathematically, and irrevocably... half of your empire belongs to me. And tomorrow morning, I file the remaining papers to take complete control."

"You manipulative bitch," Arthur snarled, lunging forward, but Victoria didn't flinch.

She pressed a button on her phone. Within seconds, two burly private security guards—men Arthur himself had hired for the estate—stepped into the bedroom, blocking his path.

"Don't make a scene, CEO," Victoria mocked, walking toward the door. "You’re trapped in your own house. The cameras are mine, the guards are mine, and by tomorrow, your legacy will be mine. Enjoy your last night looking at the city skyline."
