CHAPTER 1 – "The Boy They Sent to Die"

Nobody knew the young fighter's real name anymore.
Inside the underground prison arena, everyone simply called him "The Kid."
Barely nineteen. Thin. Bruised. Starving.
He had been locked underground for months after taking the blame for a crime he swore he never committed. In this place, innocence meant nothing. Every Friday night, prisoners gathered around a steel cage where men fought until only one could still stand.
The winner earned food.
The loser was dragged away.
Sometimes alive.
Sometimes not.
Tonight, the prison boss wanted entertainment.
He ordered the impossible.
"The Kid... versus Titan."
The entire arena exploded with laughter.
Titan wasn't just another inmate.
He was a mountain of muscle covered in scars, undefeated in forty-seven brutal fights. Men twice the Kid's size had begged for mercy before collapsing beneath Titan's fists.
The Kid looked up at the giant standing across from him.
His knees trembled.
His ribs were still cracked from last week's fight.
A guard whispered with a cruel smile.
"Don't worry... it'll be over quickly."
The bell rang.
Titan didn't even raise his fists.
He simply smiled.
"I'll make this painless."
The crowd screamed for blood as the giant slowly walked forward.
The Kid backed away until his heels touched the cold steel fence.
There was nowhere left to run.
Then...
Instead of begging...
The Kid smiled.
It was the first time anyone had ever seen him smile inside the prison.
May you like
And for the first time that night...
Titan stopped walking.
