CHAPTER 2 – "The Secret Hidden Behind His Smile"
The silence felt heavier than the cheering crowd.
Titan narrowed his eyes.
"What are you smiling at?"
The Kid wiped the blood from his lip.
"My father always said..."
"...the biggest man usually falls the hardest."
The audience burst into laughter.
Titan laughed loudest of all.
Then he charged.
One punch.
The Kid disappeared beneath the massive swing.
Another.
Missed.
A third.
Still nothing.
The giant grew frustrated.
Every movement from the skinny teenager seemed impossible.
He wasn't stronger.
He wasn't faster.
He simply knew exactly where Titan would strike before the punch was thrown.
Whispers spread through the arena.
"Who taught this kid to fight?"
Even the prison guards exchanged nervous glances.
Titan roared and threw everything he had into one devastating blow.
The Kid stepped aside at the last possible second.
Titan's fist smashed directly into the steel support beam.
CRACK!
The entire arena shook.
Titan screamed.
His hand was broken.
The crowd fell completely silent.
The Kid looked into Titan's eyes... not with hatred...
...but with recognition.
Then he whispered words only Titan could hear.
"I know who ordered my family to disappear."
Titan's face instantly lost all color.
The giant wasn't afraid of the fight anymore.
He was terrified because...
The boy standing in front of him wasn't there to survive.
He had entered the prison for one reason only.
