CHAPTER 4 â âThe Name That Shook the Prisonâ

Titan spat blood onto the floor.
âYou donât understand, kid. If I say his name, we both die.â
The Kid pressed harder on his broken hand.
Titan screamed.
âSay it.â
The prison boss stood above the cage, watching with a pale face. His guards reached for their guns.
Titan looked up at him.
And suddenly, the Kid understood.
The monster in the cage wasnât the real monster.
The real monster was smiling from the balcony.
Titan finally whispered:
âWarden Blackwell.â
The crowd gasped.
The prison bossâs smile vanished.
The Kid slowly turned toward the balcony.
Warden Blackwell clapped once, cold and slow.
âWell done, boy. You found the truth.â
Then he gave the guards one command.
âLock the cage.â
The steel doors slammed shut.
But this time, it wasnât one fighter against another.
Every prisoner in the arena had heard the name.
And when the Kid raised Titanâs black wolf ring into the airâŠ
the entire prison began chanting:
âBLACKWELL! BLACKWELL! BLACKWELL!â
For the first time, the Warden looked trapped.
And the Kid smiled again.
