CHAPTER 3 – “The Giant Who Remembered Too Much”

Titan’s broken hand hung uselessly at his side.

For the first time in forty-seven fights, the prison monster looked afraid.

The Kid stepped closer and whispered again.

“You were there that night.”

Titan’s eyes twitched.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

But his voice cracked.

The crowd couldn’t hear their words, but they could feel the change. Something was wrong. Titan wasn’t attacking anymore.

The Kid raised his fists.

“My mother begged. My little sister screamed. And one man stood outside our house, wearing a silver ring with a black wolf on it.”

Titan slowly looked down at his own hand.

The same ring was there.

The Kid’s eyes burned.

“I waited ten years to find that ring.”

Suddenly, Titan lunged—not to win, but to silence him.

The Kid ducked, grabbed Titan’s injured wrist, and twisted.

Titan fell to one knee.

The arena went dead silent.

Then the Kid leaned close and said:

“I didn’t come here to kill you.”

Titan froze.

“I came here to make you tell me who paid you.”
