CHAPTER 6 — “The Clone Protocol”

The mercenary smiled.
"Hello... Brother."
The prisoners watching through the security cameras couldn't believe what they were seeing.
Two Ethans.
Same height.
Same scar above the left eyebrow.
Same piercing gray eyes.
The warden applauded slowly.
"You were never my only experiment."
"The government believed they created one perfect operative."
"I created two."
He pointed toward the mercenary.
"This is Subject Zero."
"The original."
"And you..."
He looked at Ethan with satisfaction.
"...were only the backup."
Subject Zero cracked his neck and stepped into the room.
"I've waited fifteen years for this."
"No guns."
"No soldiers."
"Just us."
The steel doors slammed shut automatically.
Outside, every guard watched through bulletproof glass.
Even the mercenaries stayed back.
They knew history was about to be written.
The two men circled each other in complete silence.
Then, at the exact same moment...
They attacked with identical movements.
Punch.
Block.
Kick.
Counter.
Every strike mirrored the other perfectly.
It was like watching one man fight his own reflection.
But after several brutal exchanges...
Subject Zero suddenly whispered a sentence no one expected.
"They lied to you too."
Ethan froze for a fraction of a second.
Subject Zero lowered his fists.
"Our father didn't create us..."
"He stole us."
Before Ethan could ask what he meant...
A deafening explosion ripped through the prison.
The ceiling collapsed.
Smoke filled the room.
And through the fire walked an elderly woman carrying nothing but a silver cane.
The warden's face turned white.
He staggered backward and whispered in terror—
May you like
"Mother..."
To be continued...
