🔥 CHAPTER 3: "THE TRAITOR INSIDE THE COMPANY"

The conference room remained frozen.

No one spoke.

The only sound was Victor's uneven breathing as two security guards stood on either side of him.

Daniel Harrison slowly lowered the contract onto the table.

His hands were shaking—not from fear...

But from anger.

He had spent thirty years building Harrison Global from a small engineering company into an international corporation.

And today...

Someone inside his own company had almost stolen everything.

He looked directly at Victor.

"Who hired you?"

Victor remained silent.

"I asked you a question."

Still nothing.

Daniel nodded toward security.

"Take him downstairs."

The guards grabbed Victor by both arms.

Suddenly, Victor burst into laughter.

A strange...

Confident...

Almost victorious laugh.

"You think you've won?"

Everyone looked at him.

"You've only stopped one contract."

Daniel narrowed his eyes.

"What do you mean?"

Victor smiled.

"You're looking at the wrong man."

"There are people much more powerful than me."

Before anyone could ask another question, Victor suddenly bit down on something hidden inside his mouth.

A tiny capsule.

Within seconds, foam appeared at the corners of his lips.

The security guards reacted instantly.

"Call an ambulance!"

Victor collapsed onto the carpet.

Doctors from the company's emergency medical team rushed upstairs.

Fortunately, it wasn't poison.

It was a powerful sedative designed to make him unconscious before questioning.

Lena knelt beside him.

"He planned this."

Daniel stared at her.

"You knew?"

She nodded.

"Professional intelligence agents often carry emergency sedatives."

One executive laughed sarcastically.

"A cleaner knows about intelligence agents?"

Lena didn't answer.

She simply removed Victor's wristwatch.

Everyone looked confused.

"What are you doing?"

Instead of replying...

She carefully unscrewed the back of the watch using a small screwdriver from the cleaning cart.

Click.

A tiny black memory chip fell into her hand.

Gasps echoed through the room.

The company's IT director immediately took it.

"This..."

"...is encrypted."

Lena calmly replied,

"Not for long."

Daniel looked at her with growing disbelief.

"Who are you?"

She gave him a faint smile.

"Later."

Within twenty minutes...

The cybersecurity department copied the contents of the chip.

When the first files appeared on the giant conference screen...

The room exploded.

Thousands of confidential documents.

Internal emails.

Hidden bank transfers.

Photographs.

Voice recordings.

Every file pointed to the same horrifying conclusion.

Someone inside Harrison Global had been leaking company secrets for almost two years.

Not one document.

Not ten.

Thousands.

One financial advisor whispered,

"This couldn't have been done by one employee."

The IT director nodded.

"It's an organized network."

Daniel's face grew pale.

"Show me the payment records."

A spreadsheet appeared.

Dozens of offshore accounts.

Millions of dollars transferred every month.

Then...

One particular name appeared on the screen.

Everyone turned toward the end of the table.

Chief Financial Officer...

Richard Collins.

Daniel stared in disbelief.

Richard had worked beside him for twenty-three years.

He had attended Daniel's wedding.

He had held Daniel's newborn daughter in his arms.

Daniel whispered,

"No..."

Richard slowly stood.

"I can explain."

Lena quietly interrupted.

"No."

"You can't."

She clicked another file.

A hidden surveillance video appeared.

The timestamp showed...

Three nights earlier.

Richard secretly entering Daniel's private office.

Removing confidential documents from the safe.

Photographing every page.

The room erupted.

Richard suddenly ran toward the exit.

"Stop him!"

Security officers chased him through the executive floor.

Employees jumped aside in shock.

Richard reached the emergency staircase.

He was only seconds from escaping...

Until Lena calmly stepped into the hallway.

She didn't run.

She didn't panic.

She simply waited.

Richard charged toward her.

"Move!"

Instead...

She grabbed his wrist.

Twisted it effortlessly.

Richard crashed face-first onto the marble floor before anyone even realized what had happened.

The hallway fell completely silent.

A man nearly twice her size...

Had been taken down in less than two seconds.

One security officer whispered,

May you like

"...Who is she?"

Daniel asked himself the exact same question.
