Chapter 15 - The CleanupBy afternoon, the penthouse was cleared of federal agents, digital forensics units, and the wreckage of Victoria’s elaborate conspiracy. The Aegis Holdings syndicate had unraveled in a matter of minutes as federal freezes swept through their offshore accounts across Zurich and the Caymans.

Tobias stood on the balcony, the autumn breeze catching the silver at his temples.
The sliding glass door opened softly, and Elena stepped out, wrapping her arms around his waist from behind, pressing her cheek against his back.
"Is it really over?" she whispered.
Tobias turned around, pulling her into his arms, burying his face in her hair. "It's over. The foundation is ours again. No ghosts, no shadow corporations, no corporate traps."
"You knew," Elena murmured, looking up at him with a mix of awe and amusement. "When she walked in here and gloated about the charter... you already had the trap set."
"I had a suspicion," Tobias admitted, kissing her forehead. "When Victoria brought me that first folder a year ago, the metadata on the document didn't match her clearance level. I let her play her hand so we could eradicate the threat permanently. I wasn't going to let anyone ever threaten our family again."
From the living room, a loud crash echoed, followed by Julian shouting, "Dada! Leo dropped the building!"

Tobias smiled, taking her hand. "Lead the way."
