Chapter 20 - DAWN OF THE TRUE KINGThree days later, the sun rose over Brooklyn, casting a brilliant, warm amber glow across the manicured lawns of the Moretti estate.

The heavy iron gates swung open smoothly. For the first time in a decade, there were no guards posted in the shadows with weapons drawn, no paranoia lurking behind the oak doors, and no hidden wires humming in the walls.

Inside the master study, the brand-new grandfather clock ticked with a steady, peaceful rhythm.

Aleandro sat behind his mahogany desk, reviewing simple corporate logistics for the legitimate shipping ports of Moretti Holdings. No cartels. No bloodshed. Just commerce, steel, and a future built on truth.

The door swung open with a cheerful squeak.

Four-year-old Emma skipped across the Persian rug, her new silver pocket watch gleaming in the morning light, her stuffed rabbit tucked firmly under her arm.

"Mr. Moretti!" she called out, planting her pink sneakers right by his chair. "Mama says it's time for pancakes!"

Aleandro laid down his pen, stood up, and scooped the little girl effortlessly into his arms, a genuine, completely unburdened smile spreading across his face.

"Pancakes sound perfect, Captain," Aleandro said softly, carrying her toward the bright, sunlit hallway.

The war was over. The ghosts were laid to rest. And as the grandfather clock chimed the morning hour, the true dynasty of Moretti finally began.
