Chapter 19 - The Grand Tribunal – Trial of the Century

Two days later, the International Criminal Court in The Hague was packed to maximum capacity. Global news networks beamed live coverage to over two billion viewers worldwide.

Sitting behind the defense bar were Lord Julian Blackwood, Victoria Sterling, Isabella Rossi (extradited from federal prison), and twenty high-ranking international officials implicated in the Aegis conspiracy.

The chief prosecutor stood up. “The court calls its primary witness: Mrs. Khloe Vance Thorne.”

Khloe walked down the center aisle of the courtroom. She wore a striking, royal-blue dress that radiated pure, unshakeable sovereignty. She took her seat in the witness stand, placing a gold-plated flash drive onto the evidence podium.

“Members of the tribunal,” Khloe spoke into the microphone, her voice steady, clear, and absolute. “For decades, the Aegis Syndicate operated in the shadows, using extortion, biological poison, deepfake media manipulation, and assassination to control sovereign economies.”

She pressed a button. The large digital screens inside the courtroom displayed the contents of the master ledger unlocked by combining the Thorne and Vance family encryption keys.

Names, bank accounts, recorded assassination orders, and video confessions—including Victoria Sterling’s private logs detailing the poisoning of Khloe’s pregnancy—played in real time before the horrified world.

Victoria buried her face in her hands, weeping hysterically. Lord Blackwood collapsed into his chair, his legal team paralyzed with shock.

“The evidence is absolute,” Khloe declared, turning her head to look directly at her defeated enemies. “Your wealth cannot save you. Your names cannot protect you. The shadow reign of Aegis ends today.”

The head judge slammed his gavel down, the sharp sound echoing like a death knell. “Guilty on all counts. Sentenced to life imprisonment without possibility of parole.”
