The screen showed Khloe sitting up in her hospital bed. She wore no makeup. Her face was pale, and bruises were clearly visible on her collarbone and arms. But her eyes burned with an icy, unbroken authority.

“My name is Khloe Vance Thorne,” she began, her voice ringing clear across millions of screens worldwide. “For three years, I stayed silent while society called me a nameless girl who got lucky.
