Chapter 5 - The Master Audio

Santiago pushed through the crowd of billionaires, his face red with humiliation and rage. "Clara!" he yelled, ignoring the security guards trying to block him. "You set me up! You dragged my family through the mud!"
The music stopped. The high-society guests turned in shock, gasping as Santiago disrupted the stage.
I remained perfectly calm at the podium. I didn't look flustered or frightened. I looked down at him with quiet absolute authority.
"Santiago," I said through the microphone, my voice amplifying throughout the immense hall. "I am glad you made it. I wanted everyone here to witness the conclusion of our marriage."
"She's a liar!" Santiago shouted to the crowd, trying desperately to salvage his reputation. "She used a fake name! She deceived me! She’s an unfit mother who is mentally unstable!"
I smiled faintly and tapped a button on the podium tablet connected to the ballroom’s state-of-the-art sound system.

An audio recording began to play across the high-definition speakers. The audio was crystal clear.
"If you don't sign tomorrow... your baby is going to grow up without a mother." Santiago’s voice echoed brutally through the room.

Then, his mother's voice followed: "Careful. The gala is tomorrow. Don't leave bruises anyone can photograph."
The room descended into a collective gasp of horror. High-society women covered their mouths; prominent businessmen shook their heads in disgust. Santiago’s face turned paper-white as his own voice condemned him in front of every influential person in the country.
