Chapter 17 - The Siege of WestchesterRealizing he was completely outmatched and facing total annihilation, Lorenzo Rizzi made a desperate, suicidal gamble. If he couldn't destroy the Moretti empire from the streets, he would strike at the very sanctuary Dominic held most sacred: the Westchester estate.

Under the cover of a violent, thunderous midnight rainstorm, Lorenzo’s remaining elite mercenary squad breached the outer perimeter fences of the estate, cutting the main power lines and plunging the grand mansion into darkness.

Red emergency strobes flickered to life along the marble corridors, casting eerie shadows across the walls.

Inside the residential wing, Dominic had anticipated this exact move.

“Vance, secure Lily and the medical staff in the subterranean panic room immediately,” Dominic ordered over his encrypted comms unit as the heavy sound of gunfire echoed from the front courtyards. “Do not open that door for anything or anyone unless you hear my biometric voice clearance.”

“Copy that, Boss! Moving them now!”

Dominic stepped out into the shadows of his darkened hallway, drawing his tactical rifle. He was no longer just a businessman or a philanthropist; he was the apex predator of the New York underworld, defending his den against wolves who dared to threaten his family.

The battle for the estate erupted into a chaotic, smoke-filled firefight across the grand staircases and art galleries.
