Chapter 4 - THE LAB REPORTCaleb rushed back in twenty minutes later. His phone was buzzing. The lab had prioritized the results.

"It’s back," he said, his voice trembling.
I sat up straight. "Read it."
He stared at the paper. His face turned from pale to ghostly white. He read the line twice, then a third time.
"What does it say, Caleb?"
"It says... the probability of paternity is 0.00%."
I felt the room tilt. "That’s impossible."
