The doctor looked at the floor. "There was a family in 405. The Millers. They left an hour ago. They took the baby they thought was theirs."
Caleb’s eyes went dark. "You let our baby leave the building with strangers?"
"We are tracking them down, sir—"
"I don't care about your tracking!" Caleb roared. "My son is out there with people who think he's theirs!"
I reached out and grabbed Caleb’s hand. For the first time, he didn't pull away.
