Chapter 4 - Whispers in the Deep DungeonsChained to the cold, damp stone wall of the subterranean dungeons, Elina felt no physical pain—only a strange, expanding warmth in the center of her chest where the cosmic vortex lived. The shackles around her wrists glowed with a faint, protective blue light, resisting the heavy iron as if the metal itself feared her touch.

Footsteps echoed down the spiral stone staircase. A figure stepped out from the shadows holding a flickering torch. It wasn't one of Malakor's guards. It was Prince Richard.
His expression was a turbulent mix of lingering terror, guilt, and a desperate, obsessive curiosity. He stopped a few feet away from her cell, staring fixedly at the swirling abyss where her face should have been.
"I shouldn't have run," Richard whispered, his voice trembling in the damp air. "When I saw you... I lost my mind. But sitting in my chambers tonight, watching the sky turn the color of bruised violet... I realized something terrifying."
Elina turned her faceless head toward him, the shifting stars within her skull focusing on his trembling form. “What did you realize, Prince Richard?” her voice echoed directly inside his mind, making him stumble back.

"My kingdom is ruined. My family is bankrupt," Richard said, stepping closer to the iron bars, his eyes wide and feverish. "And Malakor has seized the throne. He plans to execute you at dawn to solidify his power. But... a rumor reached my ears from the ancient scrolls in the royal library. The one who looks into the void and does not turn away... gains the power to command the stars themselves."
Richard reached a trembling hand through the bars, his fingers hovering inches from her face. "Help me take back what is mine, Elina. Let me look past the terror. Show me what you really are."
