Down at the community outreach kitchen in the northern district, Paulina Rivas worked her shift with quiet, unwavering diligence.
She no longer wore designer clothes or expensive pearls; her uniform was a simple cotton apron, her hair tied back neatly. The other workers respected her not for her past, but for her relentless work ethic and the humility with which she approached every task.
