Chapter 15 - The Final Plot Twist (The Ultimate Ending)Six months later.

The Blackwood Manor was completely abandoned. The grand windows were boarded up, the velvet ropes pulled down, and the overgrown vines crawled across the stone balconies where the tragedy had all begun.

Inside the quiet room of a high-end mental health recovery facility overlooking the coast, Claire sat by the window. She looked healthy, serene, and at peace.

Detective Vance stepped into the room, holding two cups of coffee. He set one down on her table.

"Ethan was sentenced to twenty-eight years yesterday," Vance reported quietly. "Harrison died of heart failure in the prison hospital last week. The Blackwood case is officially closed."

Claire took a sip of her tea, gazing out at the crashing ocean waves. "And the money?"

"All $50 million was successfully disbursed to the international victims' charity," Vance smiled. "You did a good thing, Claire. You ended a generation of corruption."

Vance tipped his hat and walked out of the room, leaving Claire alone in the quiet sunlight.

When the door closed, Claire pulled out the yellowed, sealed envelope she had taken from Eleanor’s coat on that fatal night.

She broke the wax seal and opened the letter written in her mother's elegant handwriting weeks before her death:

"My dearest Claire,

If you are reading this, it means my plan worked. It means Harrison, Eleanor, and Ethan have all devoured each other in their own greed, just as I designed.

There was never a Phoenix Protocol. The $50 million was never donated to charity. That was a decoy system I instructed you to activate to fool the federal authorities and clear your name of all financial crimes.

The real fortune—the $100 million in untraceable diamond reserves—has been sitting in a private vault in Geneva under your real birth name.

You were always my favorite actress, my sweet daughter. You played the fragile, innocent victim so perfectly that even your father and sister never realized... you were the one who gave me the poison to fake my death six months ago.

Enjoy your freedom. You earned it.

With all my love, Mother."

Claire picked up a silver lighter from the table. She sparked the flame and held it to the corner of the letter, watching her mother's words turn to ash in the glass tray.

She picked up her luxury leather handbag, pulled out a fresh passport under the name Victoria Vance, and put on a pair of oversized dark sunglasses.

Walking past the front desk of the facility, she stepped into a waiting black limousine.

The driver turned around. "Where to, ma'am?"

Claire looked out the window with a cold, breathtaking smile.

"Zurich, Switzerland. First class."
