Chapter 18 - The Siege of Lake Geneva

The midnight wind howled across the snow-capped peaks of the Alps as Arthur and his tactical team infiltrated the perimeter of the Swiss chalet. Moving like shadows through the falling snow, they bypassed the thermal sensors using portable signal dampeners Arthur had engineered himself.

Inside the sprawling underground server room of the chalet, three high-ranking syndicate executives were frantically shouting orders in German and French as warning klaxons began to wail across the facility.

"Our accounts are draining!" one executive screamed, staring at his monitor in absolute horror. "Someone is overriding the master mainframe! Who has this level of access?"

The heavy oak doors of the server room were blown off their hinges with a sharp, controlled breach charge.

Arthur stepped through the smoke, his heavy leather boots crunching against the shattered wood. Behind him, Vance and the tactical team secured the room in seconds, weapons trained on the terrified executives.

Arthur walked straight to the main console, pulling the titanium flash drive from his pocket and plugging it directly into the syndicate’s master port.

"Good evening, gentlemen," Arthur said softly, his voice cutting through the blaring alarms. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am the man whose family you tried to touch."
